The SteriPEN Classic uses ultraviolet light to destroy viruses, bacteria and protozoa (giardia & cryptosporidium)

Pure and simple, there are no chemicals that leave an aftertaste in the water.

It's a perfect choice for backpacking, hiking or traveling.

Simply press the activation button and immerse the UV lamp into the water you are treating. The lamp will automatically emit microbe-killing ultraviolet light.

Purifies up to 32 oz. of water at a time. Lamp life is 8,000 treatments and can disinfect one liter of water four times a day for over five years.

Requires 4 AA batteries, not included.
